We’ve been enjoying the World of Warcraft Anniversary in game for most of the month, but today, November 23rd, is the actual anniversary of the launch of World of Warcraft. Eighteen years ago today, November 23rd 2004, Azeroth and all of its denizens sprang onto the gaming scene and changed lives forever. Mike Ybarra, President of Blizzard Entertainment, tweeted a tribute:
