While the Cvar for Friendly Nameplates name-only mode hasn’t returned, it seems that players have found a workaround to restore the functionality.
Yesterday, we covered that Patch 10.0.5 had removed the Cvar “nameplateShowOnlyNames” which means that nameplates and castbars would always show on Friendly Nameplates while in a raid or dungeon. Many players relied on this for positioning in raids and dungeons, but it looks like players have found a solution!
