Nothing is worse than having spam friend requests on your Battle.net account trying to sell you something – and Blizzard agrees.
President of Blizzard Entertainment Mike Ybarra revealed on Twitter that a bug allowing Battle.net IDs to become visible has been fixed, blocking the annoying spammers at the source:
It may take a while to weed out those who already accessed the information, but at least the flow has stopped – here’s hoping it’s a quick fix to mop up the remaining sellers!
