Over 19 years after its inaugural journey into the cinematic universe, Nintendo’s Super Mario franchise yet again returns to theater screens across the globe. This time in fully computer-animated 3D, the “Super Mario Bros. Movie” trailer alone already sparked several controversies including Mario’s mustache size and the choice of voice actors.
