In their Developer Update livestream on October 4, Blizzard announced that almost all Unique items will receive an update with Diablo 4 Season 2.
Between their Season 2 showcase and the community Q&A segment, Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher teased this massive update and referred to the development team’s next livestream update happening on October 10, which will focus on class updates and item changes:
