BlizzCon is in full swing. Warlords of Draenor is next week. What other news could we possibly need? Well a few rogue items have cropped up in the past week and those of us not having a ball at BlizzCon are here to tell you about them.
Ravenholdt introduces the Ravenholdt Roundtable. The Ravenholdt Roundtable is a semi-regular discussion of all things rogue with smart, talented people in the rogue community. For our very first episode, Fierydemise sat down with with Vigilate of Midwinter and Flim of ScrubBusters to talk about PvE Rogues. This is a must-listen:
If there are topics or guests you’d like to see on future roundtables let us know on Twitter at @Ravenholdt or in our forums.
Among the items available from the BlizzCon section of the Gear Store is a version of the classic Rogue Bloodfang armor. Unfortunately you have to have a BlizzCon ticket to access it at the moment, but this tease was posted on Twitter. Now we can be both well dressed and super comfy!:
There were a few relevant Hotfixes for us this week – and yup, sadly those swords did get fixed:
Talents: Burst of Speed should now be usable even if the Rogue is under the effects of other movement speed buffs.
Quests: Blood of the Betrayer: Rogues should now be able to remove Arcane Infused Armor from Nalice, and be able to complete the quest.
Racials: Dwarven Stoneform ability should no longer cause the character to break out of stealth.
Items: [Requires a realm restart.] Adjusted a number of item enhancements from earlier expansions that were providing a larger than intended bonus.
With Warlords of Draenor on the horizon (did I mention, next week!) Brady Games is releasing their accompanying guide, World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Signature Series Strategy Guide. The class guides were written by various notable players, with the Rogue section being penned by our very own extremely brilliant Red-Hatted Ravenholdt Rogue, Rfeann.
Rogue concerns were touched on briefly at the World of Warcraft – Items, Class Changes, and More panel Q&A at BlizzCon. Rfeann sums up here:
