The World of Warcraft’s 18th-anniversary event is going live today on live servers. Check out our guide to see what’s new and the items you can collect!

Experience and Reputation Gains Increased (New in 2022)

Winds of Wisdom – Increases XP gains by 50% until November 15.

WHEE! – Increases XP and reputation gains by 10% until November 13.

Celebration Package – Increases XP and reputation gains by 18% until November 27.

Turning on War Mode at Level 20 grants +10% XP.

If you’re leveling through BfA content, you can buy Draught of Ten Lands with the Warfront currency for another +10% XP gains increase that lasts 1 hour.

From November 6 through 13, reputation gains will be increased by 28% and Experience gains by 88% on live servers.

World Bosses

Multiple world bosses are available during the anniversary event. They drop 50 Timewarped Badges and Item Level 272 loot.

The Originals is a quest that requires you to defeat all the Vanilla world bosses and rewards 150 Timewarped Badges.

Lord Kazzak spawns within the Tainted Scar in the Blasted Lands.

You can find Azuregos in southeastern Azshara.

Emeriss, Lethon, Taerar, and Ysondre, have a chance to spawn in one of the following locations: Duskwood (Twilight Grove), Hinterlands (Seradane), Feralas (Dream Bough), and Ashenvale (Bough Shadow).

Doomwalker (new in 2021) spawns near the entrance to the Caverns of Time. Completing the quest to kill Doomwalker grants you 150 Timewarped Badges.

The boss drops a toy Doomwalker Trophy Stand, Akama’s Edge (One-Hand Axe), and Illidari Doomhawk.

The one-hand axe resembles Akama’s weapons from Black Temple.

Historian Ma’di (Anniversary Event Vendor)

In the Caverns of Time, you will find a vast array of activities — you can bang the Scarab Gong, answer Trivia questions for Timewarped Badges, buy items from Historian Ma’di, who sells various anniversary items, including the Timeless Mechanical Dragonling (new in 2021) for 200 Timewarped Badges.

Complete Korrak’s Revenge for Faction-Specific Mounts

Korrak’s Revenge is a throwback Battleground inspired by the earliest day of Alterac Valley, where players can earn faction-specific mounts from the Alterac Valley of Olde achievements, namely Stormpike Battle Ram and Frostwolf Snarler by collecting 200 Timewarped Badges from doing quests and participating in Alterac Valley Classic.

Time-Displaced Vendors and Gear

You can purchase gear for Marks of Honor and Timewarped Badges during the anniversary event. Keep in mind that some of the items are not obtainable during the year.

Time-Displaced Thanthaldis Snowgleam (Alliance Vendor)

The vendor is located in Hillsbrad Foothills (45, 46).

You must first complete the Korrak the Bloodrager quest in Classic Alterac Valley to purchase the following weapons:

Cold Forged Hammer for 2 Marks of Honor and 40 Timewarped Badges;

Ice Barbed Spear for 2 Marks of Honor and 90 Timewarped Badges;

Bloodseeker for 2 Marks of Honor and 90 Timewarped Badges;

Wand of Biting Cold for 2 Marks of Honor and 40 Timewarped Badges.

Other items include:

Winteraxe Epaulets for 1 Mark of Honor and 20 Timewarped Badges;

Mail wearers have no way to obtain the appearance besides the vendor.

Yeti Hide Bracers for 1 Mark of Honor and 20 Timewarped Badges;

Frozen Steel Vambraces for 1 Mark of Honor and 20 Timewarped Badges;
