One of the most talked about topics in the community since the start of Dragonflight has definitely been the strange (although not at all new) behavior of ore nodes.
Veteran miners won’t be too surprised by this, as we’ve seen nodes stuck in the scenery before, and there were even plenty of herbs floating around for a number of expansions, but the number or actually flying ore nodes in Dragonflight is pretty solidly above average. Players have been having fun with them, however, from just general fun posts to actually trying to mine some of them, so let’s take a look!
Let’s start with the ones that make at least a little bit of sense – after all the Dragon Isles are a wondrous place, why WOULDN’T ore grow on trees?
But then the ore-wars escalate and we get some VERY dragon-like nodes, as they have gained the ability to fly.
Although for some it’s more of a stalactite (yes I looked up which one of the two it was) situation:
But some very determined players simply refuse to let a good node go:
And then there are the old-school asshole nodes – they’re not flying and LOOK like you can get to them, buut:
And some players are a little tired of this very common topic:
The above are just a fraction of the posts made on the subject, and it’s unlikely they will stop any time soon, as the nodes may just be there for the rest of the expansion!
