We’re looking at some screenshots showcasing the increased view distance in Patch 10.1.5.
Blizzard made some changes to the environment in Fractures in Time. The patch notes mention lightning and fog updates throughout Kalimdor, but it appears view distance has been increased as well.

While the environment changes are welcome, some “don’t think bigger draw distance does Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms any favors because they were not designed to look good that way with sudden contracts between zones”.
