We have another clarification tweet on the nature of new seasonal items getting added to the main game. Associate Game Director Joe Piepiora explained all new legendary powers and unique items will be added to the main game (aka “eternal realm”) when they arrive for a new season.
There was some confusion previously as the wording surrounding items with the seasonal mechanic not transferring over. Luckily, Piepiora has now clarified what that means specifically:
Balance changes, new legendary powers and new unique items will be added to the eternal and seasonal realms at the same time.
Seasonal mechanic powers, items etc will be retired at the end of a season.

So, in the end eternal realms will be getting all the new item toys at the start of each season and not at the end!
The very first season of Diablo 4will be coming mid to late July. That leaves over a month and a half to play with the OG legendaires and uniques!
