In true Square Enix fashion, the Special Site for FFXIV’s next patch has received yet another update with more information, and it’s not out of the realm of possibility for one more update before the patch launches on Tuesday.
The latest update to the Special Site releases more screenshots of upcoming content, including features that previously contained screenshots while others hadn’t just yet. It’s a nice sneak-peek into what we’ll have going on with the massive patch. Let’s dive in.
Tataru’s Grand Endeavor shows us returning to Ishgard, and meeting up with our friends the sky pirates who worked alongside us in the Void Ark storyline. Whatever Tataru’s “Grand Endeavor” is, it seems it might have something to do with piracy! But probably not.
Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures gives us a glimpse of Hildibrand in Mare Lamentorum. That’s to say…the moon. Hildibrand is on the moon. These quest chains are considered the goofier comedic relief of the game, and I’m excited to see what this doofus is up to in space.
In addition, we’ve received more Island Sanctuary screenshots, more Duty Support update screenshots (Is that Sidurgu?!), and the Loporrits helping us with the Omicron Beast Tribe.

The Patch 6.2 special site has been updated with information regarding Tataru’s Grand Endeavor, the Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures and Manderville weaponry sidequests, the Omicron tribal quests, and the highly anticipated Island Sanctuary.
