The latest update to the PTR provides a clue to the culmination of the Emerald Dream storyline. Beware, spoilers ahead!
Although we can’t playtest the concluding chapters of the Emerald Dream campaign on the PTR, an update to the SceneScriptPackage database file has revealed the title of the final Patch 10.2 cinematic. The content remains encrypted, but the title offers a glimpse into the upcoming narrative developments.
Titled “New Moon,” it’s speculated that Amirdrassil might transition from the Emerald Dream to Azeroth, potentially providing the Night Elves with a new sanctuary. This would be a fitting closure to the Dragonflight expansion.
Given that the dilemmas of all the dragonflights are addressed in Patch 10.2, it’s widely believed that “Guardians of the Dream” could be the expansion’s ultimate major content patch. What do you think?
