This week’s Patch 10.1.5 build contains a weapon that references a future zone possibly coming later in Dragonflight.
The Infinite Hand is an interesting new Two-Hand Mace added in Patch 10.1.5 that drops from one of the Dawn of the Infinite megadungeon bosses.
What’s interesting about it is the on-equip effect (Infinite Domain) with the following tooltip:
“Exert authority over the domain of the titans, gaining 5% movement speed and granting your abilities a chance to deal Holy damage on-hit. Only active while in Uldaman, Ulduar, Uldum, Uldir, Uldorus, and Uldaz.”
The item effect is only active in the titan facilities listed above and we’ve seen them all besides Uldaz.
Uldaz was only mentioned once by the Maiden of Vitality in the Chamber of Heart and we don’t know anything about it just yet, but the community is already coming up with some potential theories.
Some think Uldaz will be a raid located in a new zone called Avaloren.
Avaloren is an unknown location where Odyn sent three unsuccessful expeditions to pursuit a group of “heretics” to answer for their crimes against Innaria and the other titan keepers. The wreckage of the third expedition was found by Watcher Perethales on “our shores”, who was afraid a fourth expedition would be sent to their demise. Perethales stated that the heretics’ defenses were too strong and trying to attack them would jeopardize the prisoners in the keepers’ charge. (Taken from Wowpedia)
