Final Fantasy XIV’s next Letter from the Producer LIVE is slated to air on Friday, August 12 at 4 a.m. (PDT)! According to the official notice below, the broadcast will provide us with new details about Patch 6.2, in addition to miscellaneous game updates.
Titled Buried Memory, Patch 6.2 will include new battle and quest content, Variant and Criterion Dungeons, and the highly awaited Island Sanctuary game mode! You can find more details about what we learned from the last Live Letter in our post here.

What upcoming piece of FFXIV content has you feeling excited about the patch? For me, it’s definitely Island Sanctuary! Admittedly, I’ve always been a fan of farming simulators (I’m 100% a Stardew Valley girl), so having a new casual game mode in FFXIV revolving around that is something I’ve been anticipating since Endwalker’s announcement. I can’t wait for us all to share our sanctuaries!
