A fresh update, Classic 1.15.0, popped up on the WoW Dev 2 CDN this past April, and it’s been receiving weekly updates ever since. Could this be for Classic+ or perhaps Season of Mastery 2?
With BlizzCon just around the corner in two weeks, there’s been a buzz about Blizzard’s Patch 1.15.0 for Classic WoW.
The inaugural encrypted version of this patch was spotted on April 20, 2023, bearing the Build 49244. The most recent update is labeled with Build 51839.
Meanwhile, Blizzard has rolled out Classic Hardcore. As for the 1.15 update, it’s pretty clear that it’s related to Classic and not a transition to Classic Cataclysm. All signs point to a project that’s been in the works for some time, possibly the much-speculated Classic+ or Season of Mastery 2!
