Rendle, the repair NPC from Castle Nathria, has a huge pile of gold next to him that’s been getting larger over the course of Shadowlands.
Rendle first appeared as a humble repairman in Castle Nathria, the first raid of the Shadowlands expansion. We saw him later in Korthia, wearing Rhinestone Sunglasses, as portrayed in the news image. In Patch 9.2, he appears in Haven selling Castle Nathria Legendary Power recipes.
All the hard work paid itself off in the end. Rendle amassed a hefty sum of gold and the pile next to him has been increasing in the raid throughout the whole expansion. Somebody even paid him with a chair from Castle Nathria! Now that’s what I call interesting character development.
