Final Fantasy’s New Game+ mode lets you replay the story with your progress intact, face tougher enemies, and craft the ultimate weapon. Learn more here.
As the release of the highly-anticipated new Final Fantasy game draws near, players are receiving more detailed information about the systems of the game, and other intriguing features.
One such revelation includes details about a New Game+ system. Once players have completed the game for the first time, they will gain access to the “Final Fantasy” New Game+ mode.
Similar to other games, New Game+ allows players to carry over their level, items, weapons, gear, and unlocked abilities from the initial playthrough. Starting a new game in New Game+ mode allows players to experience the story once again while retaining all previously unlocked progress. However, this time around, they will face a more challenging difficulty level and have the opportunity to earn a gold trophy upon completion.
In addition to the harder difficulty with enemies reaching a maximum level of 100, Final Fantasy’s New Game+ mode will also provide players with the ability to craft an ultimate weapon at the Blacksmith.
