Learn how to reduce Motion Blur in Final Fantasy 16 and improve your gaming experience.
Final Fantasy XVI is a stunning game that has captivated millions of players, but not everyone can enjoy it without problems. One of the features that has caused some complaints is Motion Blur.
Motion Blur is a visual effect that makes objects or characters look blurry when the camera moves quickly. It is supposed to create a sense of realism and smoothness, but for some people, it can have the opposite effect. Motion Blur can make the game look unclear, disorienting or even nauseating, similar to car sickness. This can ruin the gaming experience, especially in crowded areas or intense battles where there is a lot of movement on the screen.
Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off Motion Blur in Final Fantasy 16. The game does not have an option in the settings menu to reduce or remove Motion Blur. However, if you are interested in it, there is a workaround that can make Motion Blur less noticeable and improve the game’s performance.
In the graphics settings, you can choose between two modes: Quality and Performance. Quality mode prioritizes the game’s visuals, but it also uses more Motion Blur. Performance mode prioritizes the game’s frame rate, which leads to higher FPS. Additionally, by switching to Performance mode, you can reduce Motion Blur significantly, and make the game run smoother.
Rest assured, the developer team has acknowledged the issues following the demo and is actively working towards a solution (see image below). However, fixing such problems takes time, so they kindly ask for your patience if you are experiencing this problem. Hopefully, a patch will be released soon to improve the experience for affected players.
