To celebrate the 10th anniversary of A Realm Reborn, the FF team has created a spectacular diorama of Ul’dah, one of the three starting city-states for adventurers in Final Fantasy XIV.
The diorama captures the essence and atmosphere of Ul’dah in a stunningly detailed 2m x 2m model (approx. 1/180 scale). It features hundreds of miniature figures, buildings, vehicles, and props, all meticulously crafted and painted by hand.
The special site for the diorama offers a closer look at this amazing work of art, with photos from various angles and perspectives. You can also watch a video that shows the process behind the diorama’s construction, from the initial design to the final assembly.
The video reveals some of the challenges and techniques involved in creating such a complex and realistic model.
