FF14 is celebrating The Rising Phoenix, by paying special tribute to A Realm Reborn’s 10th Anniversary. Learn how to get the Phoenix mount, and join the celebration of Final Fantasy XIV’s rebirth.
The 10th Anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV’s Rebirth, with A Realm Reborn, is one of the biggest celebrations of the game. In order to thank players for their support and engagement, FFXIV team has prepared special celebrations for their Warriors of Light.
As you know, The Rising event will start this Sunday on August 27th, and will reward players with a magnificent Phoenix Mount.
The Phoenix, in itself, has always been a representation of Rebirth. For Final Fantasy XIV, it represents the game’s rebirth back when A Realm Reborn was launched. We have had phoenix looking mounts in the game before that players could ride through Eorzea, but something will be special with this new Phoenix mount.
According to Minaryne from the FFXIV community team, in her recent blog post (which you can find here), the Rising Phoenix mount will not have players ride on it’s back, but instead, players will BE the Phoenix.
For those who played the recent Final fantasy 16, they will be able to feel like they are the new Dominant of the Phoenix!
On top of that, it seems that the mount has a unique action called A Flame Reborn.
Additionally, there will be a minigame as well as very special messages, all for the 10th Anniversary celebration. Those can be found at any NPC with a 10th Anniversary marker over their head.
There will be a tree-shaped sculpture with messages that Warriors of Light can read. Those are written to survivors of the Seventh Umbral Calamity. Don’t hesitate to take a look and read a few messages.
Players can also try the Moogle minigame: Kupo Kupo Adventure, for some fun and addictive entertainment.
And for those who would wish to remember the Great Louisoix Leveilleur, take the quest from Nanaji in Ul’dah.
Players can take this quest anytime, even after The Rising event ends.
Now is the time for all Warriors of Light to spread their wings and rise, like a Phoenix, towards new adventures!
