Battle System Adjustments
Patch 6.48 introduces some balance changes for several jobs in PvP mode.

Paladin:
Blade of Faith (Potency has been increased from 4,000 to 6,000)
Blade of Truth (Potency has been increased from 6,000 to 7,000)
Gunbreaker:
Draw and Junction (Action can now be used to target self and party members. * The additional effect Powder Barrel will only be granted when targeting an enemy)
Black Mage:
Soul Resonance (Now grants the effect Apocatastasis)
White Mage:
Miracle of Nature (Recast time has been increased from 25 to 30 seconds)
Afflatus Purgation (Cure potency of the Regen effect granted by Temperance has been reduced from 4,000 to 3,000)
Astrologian:
Aspected Benefic (Cure potency of Diurnal Benefic has been increased from 1,000 to 2,000. Effect duration of Diurnal Benefic has been increased from 12 to 15 seconds. Barrier potency of Nocturnal Benefic has been increased from 4,000 to 5,000)
Additionally, to prevent players from accidentally disabling it when repeatedly pressing the button, the time until the Guard common action can be manually disabled, has been increased from 1 to 2.5 seconds.
PvP Updates
Patch 6.48 also marks the end of the Crystalline Conflict Season 7 and the start of Season 8.
Here is what you need to know:
Vouchers for the top 100 ranking players from each data center will be sent via Moogle delivery service.
Any player that achieved bronze tier or higher can claim the rewards at the Seasonal Quartermaster NPC in Wolves Den Pier.
To claim your rewards, follow these steps:
Speak with the Seasonal Quartermaster NPC at {X:4.5 Y:6.2} in Wolves’ Den Pier.
Select “Claim Rewards” from the dialogue options.
Choose the reward you want to receive from the list.
Confirm your selection and enjoy your reward.
Once you start in Season 8, your rank will begin five levels lower than the rank you finished in Season 7. Rising star will be reset to zero.
The Commendation Quartermaster NPC has been moved to X:4.5 Y:6.2 in Wolves’ Den Pier.
System Adjustments
Patch 6.48 also brings some system adjustments to improve the game experience. For example:
