Final Fantasy 14 and Fall Guys are teaming up to bring new content to both games. Players will be able to enjoy obstacle courses, costumes, emotes, and more in this exciting collaboration.
Fans of both Final Fantasy XIV and Fall Guys are in for a treat, as the two games are collaborating to bring new content to each other. The announcement was made during the Fan Festival 2023 in Las Vegas, where the upcoming expansion, Dawntrail, was also revealed.
The collaboration will feature a number of Fall Guys inspired obstacle courses in FF14’s Gold Saucer. Players will be able to compete against other players in a battle royale mode, where they will have to dodge, jump, and slide their way to the finish line. The obstacle courses will be added to the game sometime between Patch 6.5 and the release of Dawntrail next summer.
On the other hand, Fall Guys will receive eight new Warriors of Light costumes from Final Fantasy 14, as well as emotes and rewards. The costumes include the twin characters Alphinaud and Alisaie Leveilleur, as well as Dragoon and White Mage job costumes. The costumes will be available through a Warrior of Light Fame Pass event, which will run from Tuesday, August 22, 2023 to Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
This is not the first time that Fall Guys has collaborated with others, as it has previously featured costumes from games like Sonic the Hedgehog, Doom Eternal, and Among Us. However, this is the first time that FFXIV has crossed over with another game like this one in such a way.
The collaboration between the two games is expected to bring more fun and excitement to both fanbases, and will also introduce new players to each game. For more information about the collaboration, you can visit the official websites of Final Fantasy 14 and Fall Guys here:
Square Enix has also announced some collaborations with other games or brands that will be part of the next expansion, so stay tuned for more like this in the future!
