Final Fantasy XIV is celebrating its annual summer festival, the Moonfire Faire, from Thursday, August 10, 2023 to Saturday, August 26, 2023. This year’s theme is inspired by the legendary Phoenix, the fiery bird that symbolizes rebirth and renewal. Whether you are a veteran or a newcomer to the game, you can join the fun and enjoy various activities, rewards and surprises.
How to Participate
Players who want to participate in the event must be at least Level 30 and talk to Mayaru Moyaru in Limsa Lominsa (Upper Decks (X:11.5 Y:13.8)). Mayaru will then give them a quest called “Allergic to Sunshine”, which will lead them to the event venue in Costa del Sol. There, they will meet other NPCs who will offer different quests and challenges.
Rewards
As players complete these event quests, they will earn various items, as well as event tokens, that can be exchanged for more rewards at Moonfire Faire vendors. Some of the rewards include:
A Phoenix-themed armor set that consists of a headpiece and a body piece. The armor can be worn by any class or job.
Players can also purchase some items from previous iterations of the event, such as swimsuits, fireworks, masks and more.
Please note that seasonal quests cannot be completed after the event has concluded.
The Moonfire Faire is a great opportunity to have fun, socialize and celebrate summer with other players. Adventurers can also experience the vibrant and colorful atmosphere of Costa del Sol, which is decorated with lanterns, banners and fireworks.
