We’re looking at an interesting encrypted weapon arsenal added to the game on the 10.2 PTR that mentions stormriders, potentially another Patch 11.0 hint.
The item in question is Arsenal: Stormrider’s Stormhammers and while we thought it could be a Trading Post item, it’s encrypted, so it’s more than likely Blizzard will include it in this year’s BlizzCon Collection.
Blizzard revealed a few day ago there will be no Virtual Ticket because the event is free to watch, but there’s still a BlizzCon Collection bag that you can purchase to receive goodies in all Blizzard games.

We’ll also have details soon on a new set of in-game goodies for this year’s event we’re calling the “BlizzCon Collection” (previously known as the Virtual Ticket) – stay tuned to find out more in the coming weeks.
We expect Arsenal: Stormrider’s Stormhammers to be available to players who buy the BlizzCon Collection. The weapons have the following flavor text:
“The weapons of a stormrider are renowned across Azeroth with many mastering the power of the storm itself.”
When you try to preview the weapons on the PTR, you will only see cubes, which means the weapons are encrypted, but at least we’ve got the two item names — Regal Stormhammer and Thundering Stormhammer.
New hints of Patch 10.1 are appearing relatively frequently these days. First, we covered the name of the Heroic Edition Mount based on an achievement pulled from Blizzard’s API. We also looked at a new in-game book that subtly hints towards what lies beyond the storm.
