We recently found an interesting map in the Dragonflight Alpha files, the “Pandaren Revolution“, and it was unclear as to what it may be. But now, as dataminer Simaia (@keyboardturn) found more like it, it seems we’re either going to time travel to some major events in WoW’s past, or at the very least will get a look at them via visions/playing as historical figures!
All of the maps look normal/the same as today, but have different names in the files. And while the Pandaren Revolution one was a relatively non-specific name, the following ones are very clearly historical events, some of them major:

This might be nothing, of course, since it’s the very start of the Alpha, but taking it at face value indicates we should be going to these historical events, and in more than just a cutscene presumably. This all makes a lot of sense, since the Bronze Dragonflight is involved as always, and there’s even a theory/leak of a certain someone being the main villain of the expansion, which fits with this.
