The new talent system is pretty great, but it works best when leveling a new character, as you get to explore the new talents little by little. However, if you’re a new player or when you’re jumping in to a pre-Dragonflight pre-patch alt, and especially if you’re returning after being gone a while, picking all those talents can be overwhelming.
You can always just grab one of the builds from our own class guides with the import strings, but there’s an even easier and faster way to just get to playing without even leaving the game, and it also allows you to explore the tree on your own. As Gankeros reminded everyone, there’s a starter build option in the bottom left of the talent tree which will highlight which talents to pick when. This can also help new players even while leveling, as they get a baseline while trying out new things.
