Dragonflight Season 2 DPS Log Rankings for Aberrus, Week 1

 

And here we go, as we get our first real look into Aberrus and its DPS rankings! The Race to World First is still going and the final boss isn’t dead yet (although he’s VERY close) so the Mythic data also isn’t relevant yet (and won’t be for a while), but we still took a look in there for those really interested players. We have a LOT of charts to go over so we’ll have a somewhat shorter overview for each.

Heroic

Overall Damage 95th Percentile

We have a mage on top once more! Arcane had a steady rise ever since 10.1 dropped, and it has reached it’s raid peak! Subtlety has come over to raids from its Mythic+ domination, and it has that top spot in sight. Destruction and Unholy have been knocked out of the top 2, but are waiting very close by, as Devastation and Marksmanship remain stable in 5th and 6th. The rest of the top 10 is also looking very similar to our day 1 look, but Shadow did move ahead of Elemental, and so did Enhancement, winning the Shaman-showoff! Feral managed to sneak into the final top 10 spot, as Fire joins Frost DK and BM Hunter at the boom.

Overall Damage All Percentiles

The tables are turned in the generalist bracket, as Subtlety has taken over, now ruling over Mythic+ AND raids. The big difference from the top percentiles is the Retribution Paladin in 6th, and especially the Assassination Rogue in 7th, with Arms also making an appearance at the end of the top 10.

Boss Only Damage All Percentiles

Arcane is not kidding around, as it also takes the top on the direct damage chart, taking down the all-time ruler Unholy, and the always near the top Assassination. Frost DK and Fire Mage are also very consistent between the direct and AoE damage charts, right there in the bottom 3 – this time joined by Havoc!

Normal

Normal is looking very similar to Heroic, with the biggest difference being Arms getting slightly higher up and Survival Hunter actually making the top 10!

Mythic

If you really, absolutely, categorically NEED to know what’s happening in Mythic, here you go. But this data is the least relevant at the moment, as not all bosses have been killed yet and there are very few guilds (relatively) in the Mythic raid at all!

And that concludes our first real look at Aberrus, but there’s still class tuning happening this reset, so things are very much not stable.
