Week 3 of the Fated Sepulcher pre-patch has come and gone, and the class tuning is really taking effect, solidifying the top 2 specs that will most likely stay up there until the expansion launches, and even breaking the 100K DPS mark. We do have some more class tuning arriving this week which might shake things up but the top specs are pretty safe, unless the Evoker just comes in and takes over the place.
Mythic
95th Percentile
The huge disparity between the top 2 and everyone else has only grown in week 3 of the Dragonflight pre-patch, as Affliction and Balance are having an AoE Chaotic Essence-fueled party and no one else was invited. This seems to be the way of the world for the rest of the pre-patch, as this week’s phase 2 patch notes and class tuning do not address either Affliction or Balance, but since their insane power is mostly Fated affix based, maybe that’s ok as well.
In the rest of the world/chart, we have Beast Mastery pushing through into the top 3 and Unholy reclaiming the top DK honors in 4th, while Windwalker recovers a little from its nerf and moves 1 up. Despite dropping 2 this week, Frost DK is still the most stable spec throughout these last 2 patches, as Arcane is very much unstable (as it tends to be) and drops 4 spaces to 7th. In case 1 infinitely dominant Warlock spec wasn’t enough for you, we have Demonology rising back up after its giant fall from grace with this patch, claiming 6 spots to land in 8th, as Fire and Retribution close out the top 10. At least one Hunter made it out of the bottom of the barrel, as Survival leaves Marksmanship down there to die (at least until Dragonflight), with Subtletly and the massively nerfed Enhancement making it company.

All Percentiles
While Affliction is dominating the high percentiles, it seems the averaged stats see the throne go to Balance instead! Frost DKs are doing better than in the top percentiles here, only dropping 1 spot into 4th, as Outlaw wins the most improved trophy in the top 10, rising 4 spots into 5th. Unholy recovered after its big drop here this week as well, while Arms remains solid in 8th. Havoc is having a significantly rougher week than the rest, as it drops 3 spots and almost out of the top 10, with Fire taking Retribution out of the final spot. Arcane’s rough week continues here as well, as it dropped even further – 7 spots down into 11th.

Heroic DPS
Uncharacteristically, Heroic is looking a lot like Mythic this week, but only for the first 2 spots, as we immediately see a big difference in third, as Arms holds strong. Fire is also doing a lot better here than o the maximum difficulty, and Windwalker is doing a little worse.
