The age of Augmentation has begun. The spec has been in the top ever since the logs started calculating their contributions correctly. And they don’t seem to be going anywhere either, most likely not even after the nerfs they’re getting in this week’s tuning. There’s been a lot of movement this past week so let’s take a look at it all.
Mythic
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
Augmentation is ahead by a mile, and its closest challenger is a newcomer, as Frost DK charges up 5 spots to claim the silver. Enhancement is also on the move, claiming 3rd, while the other Frost spec moves 2 up into 4th. With all this upwards mobility something has to fall, and that something is Demonology down in 5th. Affliction gains 2, just ahead of Unholy which has had its biggest drop in a long while, dropping 5 into 7th. Fire joins the DK on its downwards trajectory, but is only down 3. Shadow remains stable at the tail end of the top 10, just ahead of some more nerfs this week, as Arcane also stays strong at No.10.

Overall Damage All Percentiles
The green one moves in to the very top here as well, as it’s taken a little longer to get to the throne, bulldozing 3 specs since last week, while also pushing Fire down into 2nd. Enhancement remains in the same spot, but takes down Unholy to do so, as Affliction only drops a spot to Augmentations big move. Frost Mage is on the move here as well, gaining 4 spots in 6th, while Demo and Arcane stick together, both down 1. Shadow seems married to 9th as it takes down Frost DK to stay put, and we see a very bright color just outside the top 10, with Windwalker making an appearance. Meanwhile, Survival takes the obligatory Hunter spot in the bottom 3, giving Beast Mastery a breather and joining Assassination and Retribution down in the dumps.

Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
While it’s not quite making the very top, Augmentation gains ground here as well, 2 up into 3rd. Unholy is still at the top of the pack and looking like it will stay there a while, as Affliction moves into 2nd while Demonology drops two in 4th. Fury, Balance and Outlaw seem to be the worst at direct damage, settling down in the bottom 3.

Heroic
Enhancement makes a big move in Heroic, where things are usually pretty stable, but the Shaman is rushing past 3 other specs to land in 3rd. Demonology is down across the board it seems, losing 6 spots here and barely holding on to the top 10. Augmentation still hasn’t caught on as the easier fights don’t seem to require much boosting, with the spec finding itself down in 16th!
