Blizzard revealed quarterly updates for Diablo 4 in Game Informer’s cover story.
Associate Game Director on Diablo 4 Joe Piepiora revealed the upcoming game will receive post-launch quarterly updates, consisting of new story chapters that will be tied into new mechanics and features of each update, as reported by Gamespot.
Blizzard in the cover story revealed two affixes that will be active in Nightmare Dungeons, Diablo 4’s endgame feature.
The first one is an invisible pillar of lightning that will constantly chase players throughout the dungeon.
The second affix will add a shade that follows players, and if touched, obscures their vision and summons more enemies.
