Blizzard announced that Diablo 4 has gone gold today! If you’re not familiar with the term, it comes from “gold master”, which is a version of the game that has been deemed finished enough to ship to stores. While the term isn’t as relevant today as it was in the past, it’s still a big milestone in a game’s development cycle, and we’ll definitely be seeing some extra patches and work being done from this point on as well, but today’s version will be the one you’ll get with a physical copy.
The game is arriving on June 6th, with Early Access for deluxe edition owners coming in on June 1st (depending on your time zone).
