Crafted Season 1 Gear Will Not Retain Sockets When Recrafted to Season 2 Item Level

Blizzard confirmed in the latest 10.1 PTR Development Notes that Crafted Season 1 gear will not retain sockets when recrafted to Season 2 Item Levels.

Season 1 gear can be recrafted to Season 2 item levels, but sockets will be removed in the process, so you must farm Volcanic Sculptor to add them again.

Sockets added through the Season 1 Great Vault will be removed when recrafting an item to Season 2 levels (with a warning prompt).
