The topic of Legion artifact weapons being able to receive illusions was quite the rollercoaster this past week, as the feature was enabled on the beta but then taken away in the next build. However, Blizzard have now said that they do plan/hope to have the feature return “a patch soon after Dragonflight launches”.

We’re also excited to make this function work, and we’re going to.

The update to make illusions appear properly on Artifact weapons is going to require a lot of testing. We’re planning to do that in a patch soon after Dragonflight launches, but not this initial launch patch (10.0.2).
