Everything we know about the Amirdrassil raid skip in Patch 10.2.
Fragment of Emberscar is an item dropping from Smolderon, the third to last boss of the Amirdrassil raid in Patch 10.2. As is usual with Dragonflight raid skips, you must collect 3 pieces of quest items from raids to unlock a raid skip. This requires players to defeat a certain raid boss 3 times on the same difficulty, because there are multiple versions of the quest items depending on the chosen difficulty.
We’ve seen this with Shard of the Greatstaff and Neltharion’s Tome of the Earth-Warder. Patch 10.2 seems to be a bit different because the raid skip quest items always dropped from penultimate raid bosses, which doesn’t seem to apply to Amirdrassil, the nine-boss raid coming in Guardians of the Dream.
Based on current datamining, you must defeat Gnarloot (the raid’s first boss) to use the raid skip to reach Tindral Sageswift and Fyrakk.
