We have some investigative datamining going on, as Simaia did some calculations based on the Dragonflight Alpha landmass, so let’s find out just how big the new expansion actually is!
With the Dragonriding ability and mount speed, we’re going to need a lot of room to maneuver, and it seems we will be getting it, as the numbers suggest that the Dragon Isles are about the same size and possibly even bigger than Northrend!
ok so this time with actual NUMBERS measuring a distance across using adt coordinate points, the Dragon Isles is roughly the same size if not bigger than Northrend. I thought something felt off with my last post.
disclaimer: I manually resized the dragon isles to match numbers. https://t.co/k5Mu6nNiYI pic.twitter.com/597oSPI81P

I meant to write bottom left for the other dragon isles coordinate, that’s my bad

my scaling is probably still going to be a smidge off but I tried to scale it as best as I could to each result. but the distance value is what’s real important to glean from this and the distance factually says that the Dragon Isles is longer than Northrend
