It would appear that Aberrus’ big cosmetic drop is going to be very different than the Vault’s, as Blizzard have made the Highland Drake: Embodiment of the Hellforged seemingly only drop from the raid’s highest difficulty. This may not seem strange as many Mythic endbosses have had their own exclusive mount drops, however, Dragonflight’s previous raid actually also had a Dragonriding customization, but it dropped from all difficulties, including LFR.
The item was a recent addition to the Adventure Guide so this may just be an oversight and it will still drop from other difficulties, but it does look like it’s intentional and that perhaps the Vault Raszageth customization was the outlier and we’re going back to Mythic endboss-specific rewards when it comes to mounts/mount customizations. All we can do now is wait to see if some lucky and surprised players come upon it on lower difficulties, like what happened with the Vault when it launched.
