Dracthyr Evokers can launch into the air anywhere in the open world thanks to their Soar racial ability which copies Dragonriding.
Dracthyr Evokers were definitely designed to look good in the air. While the other races need a dragon companion to have access to Dragonriding in the Dragon Isles, this isn’t the case for Dracthyr Evokers who can launch into the air pretty much everywhere thanks to their racial.
Using Soar grants you access to two abilities:
1. Surge Forward – Flap forward a short distance, gaining speed. (Instant, 2 charges, 5 min recharge)
2. Skyward Ascent – Flap upward, gaining height at the cost of some momentum. (Instant, 1 charge, 5 min recharge)
The cooldown on Soar begins when you land.
