Dragonflight Pre-Patch Mythic+ DPS, Tank and Healer Log Rankings: Week 1

 

It’s time to check in on Mythic+ in this first week of the pre-patch, with its madness and crazy mix of Shadowlands and Dragonflight. A very familiar face sits on top as the rankings diverge heavily from the raid, and it’s all about to get messed up all over again with this week’s massive class tuning as well.

Note: The logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.

We’re seeing a bit of a different picture here in Mythic+ than in raids, with an extremely familiar face at the top. Fire has long been the dungeon darling, having dropped off during the last few patches of Shadowlands, but then slowly climbed back up during 9.2.7 and it seems it’s now back on top, at least for the pre-patch. Affliction is right up there as well, and with the changes coming this week it seems like it’s staying there as well. Outlaw is the next big difference from the raid rankings, sitting in 3rd, as the spec has been really good in M+ for the entirety of the last Shadowlands patch. Windwalkers are doing amazingly all over, and Beast Mastery is also not as unusual a sight as you might think, as it’s doing well in raids as well, but much better here. Shadow is probably the biggest difference between the raid rankings and these, as it sits in 6th, while it’s in the bottom 3 in the Sepulcher. Havoc and Unholy are probably the biggest changes from the previous patch, as they join the top 10 from some decidedly bottom of the list placements beforehand, and Enhancement closes out the top 10, but with that giant 25% nerf that arrived this week, they won’t be there for long. The bottom is looking very yellow, as Outlaw may have escaped the Rogue curse from the last patch, but the others didn’t.
